OVER SUSAN LEURS
Susan Leurs (1966) volgde de vierjarige Masterclass over Beeldtaal o.l.v. Jorgen Polman bij Forum Beeldtaal. Leurs doet autonome projecten over sociaal maatschappelijke thema’s. Leurs is deelnemer aan FG Tegenlicht en foto- en kunstcollectief Artillusio.

OVER DE SERIE
Leurs maakt een serie analoge portretten als onderdeel van Project Pesten, dat inmiddels uit tweehonderd portretten en illustratieve beelden bestaat. Leerlingen die workshops volgden confronteerde ze met hun gedrag. De serie bevat slachtoffers van pesten maar ook pesters. Tijdens rondleidingen langs de portretten vertelden de slachtoffers hun verhalen, die soms erg aangrijpend waren.

ABOUT THE SERIES
Leurs works on a series of analogue portraits as part of Project Bullying, which now consists of two hundred portraits and illustrative images. She confronted students who attended workshops with their behaviour. Her series includes the victims of bullying as well as the bullies. During guided tours, the victims told their stories, some of which were very poignant.
