In this Portrait Story ‘Mondriaan: picturing the Artist’ Wietse Coppes offers insight into both the portrait photos Mondrian used for his promotion, as well as photos that were absolutely not meant to be distributed further. And shows what kind of person Mondrian was behind his public image.
